Thanksgiving Retrospective
We had a lot to give thanks to this holiday, especially the fact that I didn't have to eat squirrel like my sister (not kidding). Here's a few shots from the last few days set to a new song that I'm working on. Thanks Orion for helping me break my two year writers block.

Hi everyone. We're working on a special holiday post but couldn't wait to share this photo. You can see the uncensored version at Verytiny.url.justkidding. XO

Fall Daze
Today is a great day in the NE USA. It's about 65 degrees out. Epic. We took Orion out for lunch. He was craving Italian. Though the Stokke stroller is heavy, it is all-terrain. So, it appears, is the OX. Once he's out on the street, he's asleep. Period.

Pass The Duchie
Quick one for today. A little Musical Youth inspired OX action. This is the first outfit you wore to a restaurant little guy!

The SS Orion's Hope
We've taken the little skipper out for his first induction into the NYC street's via his Mac Daddy Stroller (tentatively named Orion's Hope, seriously this thing is so big it needs a bow mermaid). The little man has gotten a bit fussy in recent nights and the big man is getting acclimated to a DEFCON-5 crying episode - fire up the WOP and call NORAD. Here's a couple of shots from the last few days. We think his eyes are combination - they are big and expressive but also blue. Big Mama says that was the best Cosmo she ever tasted.

Going Home!
We made the trip to the house today. Here's a few photos from the last few days. Ginny Moore Wright gets the first visit badge! Also, see Orion doing his William Shatner impersonation from the S*#t My Dad Says poster as well as gearing up for Iron Chef.

Happy Birthday Orion
Yesterday was your birthday! At 4am on Sunday 10/16, Teri woke me up first with a tug and then with a shove to let me know it was go time. At 6am, we went to the St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital. Daddy still isn't sure why St. Luke would possess a Roosevelt but we'll put that into the parking lot for now. The morning was a blur but it went something like this - water break, yoga ball, yoga ball, agOny, AGONY, EPIDURAL, epidural, "Hi Dr. Patrick", "grab her leg? I was planning on staying above the fold...", holy cow, HOLY COW, "full head of hair? is he mine?", push, push, "Teri, you're my hero" and scene. At 11:19am on 10/17, you came into this world at 8lbs 12oz, 21 inches, brown hair, blue eyes (we think) and a fully fuctioning set of lungs. The rest of the day was spent doing OJT - on the job training!
It's day two now and we're getting the hang of it. In my mind, I think the nurses are impressed with the fact that I have an iPad app that I can monitor you're feedings, diapers and sleeping patterns with. They should have seen my toilet scale idea.

T-Minus 1cm
Hello my little constellation. The days are counting down now until your arrival. The nest has been made and remade. Hospital tours have been conducted (check, everything in good working order). Strange apparatus has been procured. Baby mittens to prevent you from scratching yourself are on standby. Diaper genie with infinity supply of diapers also ready to go. We're t-minus (or should I say plus) 1cm. Tick tock.

T-Minus 45
Hello my little constellation. It is t-minus 45 days until you are to officially join us (10/14/2010) but there is a full moon on 9/23/2010 and your mom and I are hoping we can coax you out. We’re going to drink a bottle of Lunar by Movia that is produced by a crazy winemaker near Italy. Apparently, he harvests grapes on the full moon. Perhaps naked? I’ve been dreaming about you (or maybe the concept of you, too early to tell) lately. In one dream, you have one blue eye and one green eye. You tell me that you’re fully conversant but have some issues with math (like your Mother ). In another, you don’t ever really appear but talk to me from inside your mom’s pregnant belly. You even give strangers that visit you advice.

Been a long time since I rock and rolled
Ok. It is 2010 now. I haven't posted since 2008. Tweeting, also likely disappointing for those following. So, this is the reboot of my effort. Instead of talking about marketing (snooze), this is all going to pursue the humanities (arts, family, friends).
